About Us

Littleton Sailing Club enjoys exclusive use of a picturesque lake of some 80 acres between Shepperton and Chertsey. There are about 400 members in total. Littleton Sailing Club was officially opened in June 1958 and was the Civil Service Sailing Association’s first active club.¬†Membership is not restricted to Civil Service Sailing Association members only. Non-Civil Servants may apply to join Littleton Lake Sailing Club.

There is club racing at weekends throughout the year and on Thursday evenings during the summer months. Members can also cruise or take part in our informally run improver sessions on Wednesday evenings during the summer. Adopted classes are Solos, Lasers, Optimists and sailboards. There is also an active handicap fleet. The club calendar gives all the details of our sailing programme throughout the year.

Besides sailing, the club holds a variety of social events, connected with its activities. Members are kept up to date through a newsletter published quarterly and a 3-weekly ebulletin. We also have a Facebook page and a You Tube channel.
