Coastal Sailing
An annual yachting event is organised for members and friends to experience the joys of coastal sailing and racing. This year the "Littleton Bash" has options on 2 day, 3 day or 5 day cruises with minimum outlay.

Dinghy Cruising - Coastal Visits
Throughout the Summer months, day and weekend sailing trips to coastal waters are organised. Favourite locations are Chichester Harbour and Poole Harbour.

Dinghy Racing
Some of our keener dinghy racing members travel to compete in area, national and even international events - many with notable success.
Annually club members also attend the Civil Service Dinghy Championships held at Netley on Southhampton Water. Its a great way to travel further afield and enjoy the Littleton team spirit.

Opportunities Offshore with the Civil Service Sailing Association

As a member of Littleton, you may also like to sail offshore with the Civil Service Sailing Association.

Cruising
Take a French west coast sailing holiday for a week south of Brest in July or August for around 30% less than retail and sail in congenial company. There are some berths left on the beautiful new Jeanneau 37 cruiser run by Channel Sailing Division.

Or how about Spring/Autumn for some even lower cost cold water Solent sailing. Train for your RYA Certificates as well!

Racing
If you think Littleton gets hairy at times, experience the start of a big boat race with 40 boats crewed by near humanoids. There is a high pedigree battle hardened one design Sigma 38 with new sails last season and beautifully polished hull that is run by the Offshore Racing Club. She enters the major offshore races run by RORC, JOG and various Solent series - again at costs significantly below retail due to unstinting volunteer effort. Why not try an introductory cruise or race?
