Our RYA Level 1 & 2 course is ideal for beginners aged 16 and over, offering a comprehensive introduction to dinghy sailing over four days, spread across two consecutive weekends. You’ll learn the essentials of rigging, launching, sailing, and safety, with the aim of being able to sail independently in light winds by the end of the course.

How to enrol:
To take part, you’ll need to join the club but the combined cost of membership and the course is still lower than most commercial alternatives, see our joining information. If you’re already a club member, simply complete the course application form to enrol.
