20 boats took part in our Laser Open Meeting held on Saturday 13th April. This event was part of the Laser Thames Area Traveller Series.
The event coincided with a cold snap in the Spring weather with a shifty easterly wind which picked up as the day went on, to reach 16mph gusting 26mph at its peak.
Congratulations to the overall winner of the event, Sammy Isaacs-Johnson. Demonstrating a consistently solid performance throughout the day, Sammy won with 2 race wins plus a 2nd place to count. He discarded a 3rd place in race 2, which was won on handicap by Edward Brown, one of only two Laser Radials competing.
2nd overall with one race win was Gary Bullock, whilst 3rd overall and 1st Littleton boat was Mike Bean.
